JUST A FEW LINES TO THANK YOU FOR A FANTASTIC WEEKS FISHING AT HOOKED-IN-FRANCE I BROKE MY PB TWICE WITH A MIRROR CARP OF 35LB AND A CATFISH AT 23LB,THE VENUE IS FANTASTIC WITH EXELLENT FACILITIES AND THE LAKE IS FANTASTIC WITH LOTS OF FEATURES,THE RESIDENT BAILIFF IAN WAS VERY HELPFUL,PUTTING ME ON THE RIGHT BAIT STRAIGHT AWAY AND A FISH ON THE BANK WITHIN 4HRS,THE FOOD COOKED BY SUSIE WAS BRILLIANT AND PLENTY OF IT,BAIT AND TERMINAL TACKLE ARE ON SITE SO IF YOU DO FORGET SOMETHING THEY HAVE PROBABLY GOT IT,ALL IN ALL A FANTASTIC WEEKS FISHING,SUPERB FOOD AND VERY HELPFUL PEOPLE AND I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND IT

21 fish including 3 30s, 2 29s, 1 28 lots of 20s the biggest of the week a beautiful 35lb mirror

Comments:

Duncan Freestone: Excellent fishery, great facilities, Lee's cooking is second to none. Hooked in France is the perfect place for a chilled out holiday and to get a bend in your rod.

Greg Freestone: Lee, thanks for making it a great holiday. PB for me, great first trip to France.

GREAT WEEK SPAWNING AT THE BACK END OF THE WEEK A 40.07 MIRROR, 37.0 MIRROR 6 THIRTIES…LOTS OF TWENTIES AND DOUBLES 25 FISH IN TOTAL

General comments:

A QUALITY FISHERY…HAD A GREAT TIME …..THE FISH STARTED TO SPAWN BACK END OF THE WEEK BUT WE STILL MANAGED SOME GREAT LOOKING HARD FIGHTING FISH…..WE WILL BE BACK …THIS YEAR!

WHAT A WEEK A 43 MIRROR, 41.8 COMMON 7 THIRTIES.LOADS OF TWENTIES AND DOUBLES

General comments:

We arrived on the Monday at about 11am so were two days short before we started. Lee greeted us with a cup of tea and tea in hand took us for a tour round the lake pointing our areas he thought would produce fish.

We then set up in our chosen swims. The rods went in about 3pm and I sat back dreaming about those thirties.

Well a double would be nice as my PB was 9lbs 12oz.

After a few hours the first run came. Was it a double? After a 5 minute battle a 27.5lb mirror lay on the mat. What a fish and a new PB!

The week got better, my next fish a 30.8lb mirror then a 35.8lb mirror and then finally as massive 43lb mirror! Seems like the Cranberry and Caviar boilies were doing the trick! What an amazing week!
