Existing Stock

We were a little dissappointed to discover that the total stock of Les Montautiers amounted to 188 carp of which there were
4 x 40's (to 43lb), 48 x 30's, 98 x 20's (mostly upper 20's) and 38 doubles.

There are also 10 grass carp all in excess of 30lb including one of 42lb.

New Stock

We have now introduced a further 11 large carp, including mirrors of
46lb 5oz, 43lb 4oz, 40lb 7oz, 39lb 6oz, 38lb 7oz, 35lb and 34lb 3oz
together with commons of 44lb 2oz, 41lb 4oz, 38lb 5oz, 38lb 3oz
and have supplemented these with 30 fast growing doubles and low 20's.

This total stock of some 239 carp ( over 40 fish per acre ) will give all guests the opportunity of some great catches and the increased depths and improved water conditions should ensure that the stock remain healthy and grow fast.
